There is certainly a lot to like as Wencombe transforms into Kingsbridge Regis :)
I've often thought that those Metcalfe its look like a good place to start, as opposed to using them "as is"; so I will be interested to see how they end up.

Can I as what is the provenance of the white warehouse building with the fish vans along side it?

Nice portrait Alan! The last couple of pics look very nice indeed; I presume the Warship is the original class 42 release from the big B?

Cheers

I hate to disappoint you all. The strong summer lighting in the last few photos is the one room light. a curly fluorescent energy saving bulb, coupled to my small Lumix DMC-FS30 way of handling low light (it seems to give itself a longish exposure). The room faces south but the curtains are always drawn. Occasionally the long exposure does not seem to work and I get an almost black picture. Other photos in the thread are taken with my Nikon D50 or the Lumix, sometimes with previously described room light and sometimes with that and the layout lights on which are placed at theback ok of the layout and are fluorescent tubes. I tend to use the Lumix in slightly awkward places as it is a much smaller camera than the Nikon and I can more easily what is taken through the screen at the back, where as with the Nikon I only have the view finder.

Ah ha... do you adjust the colour temperature in post processing?

I've found I've had to do this with my photographs taken in artificial light.

That depends on what it looks like. Sometimes it's OK other times I just hit Instant Fix, very occasionally I do have a play around. I almost always crop the photos. By the way the programme I do use is Adobe Photo De lux which came with my first digital camera, It is a very simple programme.
