Red valerian (Centranthus rubra) and its white variant.I know this is not of the animal variety but would someone be able to tell me what these plants are?
They are in abundance in the graveyard in Worle, Weston super Mare at the moment.
Thank you

Valerian, but not the sort you can use for herbal tea - that’s a separate species. This one is commonly found growing in wall, etc. Haven’t got my glasses on, so could be wrong!I know this is not of the animal variety but would someone be able to tell me what these plants are?

Drifting slightly off subject, late spring and early summer in my garden has been colourful and quite full on. My Iris's did very well this year. The two Pyracantha's were loaded with flowers (going brown now) so there should be an abundance of berries for the birds this autumn.Red valerian (Centranthus rubra) and its white variant.

Those bananas you are using for scale look a bit odd...Watered the garden this evening then the missis and I watered ourselves whilst listening to this little fella, Greenfinch ?
