Wildlife in the garden - at any time of year

We have a new friend in the garden, we've called him Freddy, but I'm beginning to think Fredarica is probably more accurate

It's got to the point where Freddy will almost take food out of my Wife's hand !


These 3 aren't exactly in our garden but I do see them regularly patrolling the local canal.

In early 2020 Peter and I built a raised flowerbed and planted some shrubs and a couple of Clematis. The shrubs have done very well, the Clematis have done nothing. No growth, no flower buds since the stock was planted five years back.

Until this spring when the plants started to climb the supports. This past couple of weeks I have seen buds and those buds have bloomed this week... so please excuse the grab shots!

I know this is not of the animal variety but would someone be able to tell me what these plants are?
They are in abundance in the graveyard in Worle, Weston super Mare at the moment.

Valerian, but not the sort you can use for herbal tea - that’s a separate species. This one is commonly found growing in wall,etc. Haven’t got my glasses on, so could be wrong!
