For those who did not see the build of Wencombe on another forum here are some pics.

The basic scenery was built up of polystyrene tiles and the covered with bleached hanging basket liner which was then painted and airbrushed in situ.

I am flattered chaps. It still needs detailing. The grass is too much one colour. I must get some static grass to cover some areas. I think I'll do it like Geoff (Penhydd) as I do have a puffer.

Thought I posted something yesterday but it doesn't seem to be here any more, so I'll repost it.
At long last got round to starting the detailing of the scenery and started with the stream using MiniNatur tufts. Also painting the rocks in the stream which had been covered with realistic water when I did the stream 4 years ago.new grass detail f3.jpgnew grass detail f1.jpg

Also worked on aboggy patch near the stream which had just been flock, also using MiniNatur tufts.

I hope this post doesn't disappear I think I've had that happen before.

Hi Alan,
I've just been catching up with recent post and found your early photos of the scenery being built up most interesting.
The stream and boggy patch are nice touches and very well observed, the old puffer bottle you mention is fine for small areas but perhaps this might be worth the £25 asked.....

Or you could make your own for much less, don't let the title put you off as you can translate it when you reach the page.
