A slightly weathered Hornby Grange. I'm afraid to say all my locos are RTR although all are weathered and have their names or numbers altered to be Newton or Laira Locos apart from the odd visitor.
In fact here we have a Bachmann pannier re numbered as 4679 arriving to take away the afternoon goods
and after dropping of the Toad picking up 3 vans for Hackney Yard
and then picking up the toad in the bay loop and waiting for clearance fro the return journey
Nothing wrong with RTR, I have a Bachmann Pannier, but fitted with an etched chassis, Romfords and a Mashimo motor with a flywheel, a couple of kits and RTR, the trouble with adaptions and kits is that they take a lot of precious time, I haven't run anything on my layout for over a year due to scenery making.
The Sea View Hotel shot above is great but can I add a suggestion, it's too clean as it is, the road edge is usually darker due to grime etc. I think it would add realism Alan
Agreed, but the hotel has just been painted for the season, the layout is set I late May early June so would still look very clean, at the moment I haven't got round to doing colour detailing of things like the road.
4561 at the stops after bringing the 13.45 from Newton on time at 15.13
After shunting its train into the carriage sidings it picks up the full brake to go to Wencombe where it will pick up some milk tanks for the London bound Milk Train, departing Kingsbridge Regis at 15.45
