Certainly those photos you sent had little evidence of anything wet in them...........apart from the hippy water tower and I would venture even that was "dry"............

The loco builds may take a while to start. I've absolutely no mojo.

Only brake hold down pin to do. And of course a little paint to be added.
Once painted I may add a little weight and cut some sponge to fill the void to make it quieter.

A little bit further with the 0395. Reassemble has started ready for transfers and varnish. I've managed to lose the reversing rod. So that's a job for August after our holiday.
I need to do a couple of adjustments to get the loco body to sit properly, its just a little tight on the motor. Need a blackhead from Laurie whilst in UK. The one I had is now in my G6.

A daft question, did you take any photos of the cab footplate. I am slowly building 2 0395s but cannot find any photos of the footplate itself?

I've been a lucky boy. I have just bought an LSWR L11 loco and tender, Martin Finney kit. This was under half the present cost. Which means I can get the valve gear and other ad on's from Finney7.

Honestly I think I need to get on the kits are piling up, after a three year break.

I've been having serious mojo problems, since moving from Brazil. I now feel ready to start again. Just as long as I can stay awake in the evenings.

Hers an old 3H models 7 plank. Not sure what they are based on,but being a side and end door wagon I decided to buy a set of POWsides transfers. The model was bought constructed, so I have it a quick coat of black paint.
Two bits of this I do not like wood grain if, and rub down transfers. This has both.
First side is now applied the name is not too bad. But the return lettering bottom left is poor. Some touching in with white paint will help, and weathering will cure the rest.
Now on with the other side.

I decide to paint the sides of another wagon I also bought transfers for. This time before assembly.



These both are slow projects as I manage to break my collar bone, shoulder blade and six ribs, on my right side, three weeks ago. Supporting my are at table height is fairly short before movements become unbearable.

Yes, I managed it in a 20 zone. I think that was the problem. I hit the ground and stopped. Possible would of slid if a little quicker.

Sides now have the transfers on, varnished and ready to touch in.



So much easier, than on an assembled wagon.
I numbered each side differently.

This is now ready for weathering, the axle boxes were filled, and the paint work tidied up.



I pleased how well this has turned out for such a little a outlay.
