Col. a.k.a. @Eastsidepilot will agree with me I'm sure - truck drivers of a certain generation would do exactly that - study road maps as bed-time reading. That way you weren't trying to look at the road and your Collins or A-Z at the same time when at work.
Shouldn't that be a rail replacement bus service?
