Having just watched The Usual Suspects last night then I think they should have done it in that style - with guild membership numbers chalked onto a board held in front of themselves. Most look like arrest photo's !!.![]()
Hi Guys,
Just a couple of points from the May 2015 news.
S7 is very much a minority interest within the Guild.
.....Based on the photos, I would only buy a loco from the guy on the bottom left!I found the survey thing quite interesting, although as a 37 year old modeller of post 1980 in S7, I feel like a definite minority in terms of the guild membership
I also would not buy a used car (or locomotive) off any of the technical committee based on those pictures, especially not the one on the bottom left!![]()

I'm sure S7 would thrive better from within the Guild.

I'm not questioning how many S7 modelers are or are not Guild members.......I don't actually care. I'm merely pointing out the they are a very small minority group within the Guild.Phill
I think you will find most members of the S7 group are Guild members though that would still be a small proportion of the Guild membership as you say. It's a pity that the S7 Group is separate rather than part of the Guild as I think some modellers see it as too separate to join. The Guild manual describers 3 "Guild standards", Coarse scale, fine scale and S7. I'm sure S7 would thrive better from within the Guild.

Nope - there's at least 4 of them.2 members of WT are technical committee members.
