Yes, exactly as before (2014)...I presume at some juncture mini avalanche shelters will be constructed to place at the entrance holes. Each with a roofing felt cover which would slip under one of the shed lap joints to prevent ingress of rain water by capillary action.

my experience of planed softwood is that the damn stuff never stays flat. My thought is that you should not fix it too firmly to the baseboards because when it warps, it’ll spoil them. Let it warp, plane it flat again, and re-use with packing….
You probably want to locate it with pins that will pull out.

I snip out a few ties under the rails shown by white dots. Just sufficient to allow the point to be curved.....Those Peco turnouts look great curved, what's your technique please?
