On a slightly dull day the Wencombe/Slapton bubble car throbs gently as it waits for the arrival of its connection from Kingsbridge.

First time I've ever seen a Bug (DMU) described as "throbbing"... ... as far as I recall, they always rattled, like they were about to fall apart....

Seeing on anothet thread about the colour of Westerns and other internal combustioned locos and my own predeliction for green and definitely NOT blue I thought I'd post this couple of shots. Not that i want to start an arguement

The first of Western Emperess leaving on the last leg of its journey from Paddington and the second of the warship off to Paddington whilst the bubble car trundles and shakes and rattles its way to Slapton.

One of those hazy days, no trains just a skylark warbling in the distance, the stream gurgling over the stones and the gentle drone of a bee. Sitting almost dozing, waiting to hear the signal drop signifying the approach of a train.

Alan, I am sat with you buddy drinking Tizer and eating Spangles, Excellent scenic modelling the water in the stream looks so good... oh hang on is that the sound of a signal dropping ? the other images a very good aswell, Keep up the WR modelling in East Anglia its certainly being enjoyed down here in Cheltenhamshire.

A view of the Dairy using my smaller camera which can get to places the large one can't, perhaps I should re-phrase that, then perhaps not.

The dairy still needs a tad more subtle weathering

It strikes me that if today's road milk tanker lorries went about in the state that rail milk tankers got into, no-one would touch milk at all....
