The Yard - A small industrial layout in 7mm

A couple of coats of black emulsion, actually very dark grey, I did not check the label properly when I bought it!






As a bit of a break from modelling, I was driving the Simplex Lyne at the Bredgar & Wormshill Open Day on Sunday. With a no steam ruling for the day, it meant some not seen before train formations were seen and a slightly different operating sequence.

Always nice when a delivery arrives. The paints are by Montana, not a range I have tried before, picked up the tip from Simon of Heaton Lodge fame on his YouTube channel. A channel very much worth following about the building of a huge O gauge railway. Lots of very useful tips, especially about various suppliers.

More paint than I need for The Yard, but the rest will get used on my new industrial 16mm layout when I get to that stage, think of it as The Yard on steroids!
