Looks to flow very nicely. Are both roads through it slightly curved or is that a photographic illusion? If they do, that's obviously only possible with hand made track. Marvellous.

Thanks Dave -

yes - both routes are curved... that made it an interesting challenge in Templot. Fortunately the program is powerful enough to do most of the work these days, I would have struggled otherwise! I did cheat slightly by leaving the last few chairs at the far end loose, so that everything could be lined up with the two approach roads.

Tony

69808 shunts a milk tank at Basford North. The tank kit came from the estate of the late DLOS - he preffered the grouping era and pristine rolling stock and I'm sure he would have built it fully lettered 30s style. By the '60s they were rather grubby and had plates instead. David would not have approved at all, but I'm sure he would have been faintly amused.... So it will always remind me of his friendship.IMG_4748.JPG

We had an unusual visitor on Basford North during the recent running session. Talking of dirty pacifics - Paul Scott's subtly weathered 6232 - which is probably overweight for the Derby line. This grab shot with my iPhone turned out remarkably well - hopefully in to the category of 'does it look real?'. Signal 75 for the Bulwell Common line is a pain. No matter what the adjustment, it either droops or won't return to horizontal!

Meanwhile, everyday operations continue, 63775 is in the bay platform during a lengthy shunting session to collect empty minerals from the goods yard.
