Tales from The Room of Doom. Dipping a toe in various bucolic backwaters.

Morning all.

Thank you for the kind comments, etc.

What the last few days have illustrated is that having a small, operable layout available on which to play trains is a very good thing.

With the exception of one LNER notice board, Ewe is not company specific. It was conceived and built as an East Anglian backwater. The early photos of it under construction featured J15s or East Anglian based diesels.

Evening all.

I do hope you're all keeping warm and dry, what with all the inclement weather about.

With somewhat less notice than I would have liked, here are details of the next 'event' at Lord and Butler.

Lord and Butler are very pleased to be able to reveal that Chris Hopper, aka @Gilbert will be bringing his delightful Bitley Mill micro layout along for the day. He'll be only to happy to chat about how he built this lovely little layout as well as sharing his experience of building a string of very entertaining small layouts which are often exhibited by him.

I'll have Ewe with me, mainly as a backdrop to some scenic demonstrations by yours truly. As ever, I'll be demoing WWS Static grass application as well as discussing other scenic products.

There will also be in store offers on some WWS scenic products.

The day will follow the usual opening hours of 10am until 4.30 pm.

There is no charge to enter. There is plenty of free parking outside of the shop and although L&B cannot offer refreshments to visitors, there is a cafe close by, a branch of Costa Coffee in the vicinity and a branch of Greggs a very short drive away.

So, please do pop in.

Rob.
