7mm Ranelagh Bridge Mk2

Having realised my garage is not a Tardis and I need space for Canton as well today Rob and I shortened the plan to fit in 8’ x 3’.
There may be a little more but we will print this out first and use as a starting point.
This means it’s now more of an operational diorama.
20 mins and no glue and the water tower is together temporarily as I’ll pre paint most of it before final Assembly
Unfortunately is will make the last building I made redundant as I won’t have the space

Quite a bit was recycled into a commission build I did called Westbourne Bridge. Mainly signalling and a few buildings.
The turn table was sold on, I wish I kept that bit but I wasn’t to know at the time I’d have any useable space to resurrect it in the future and I’ve moved 3 times since my divorce.
I’ve got a laser cut version being made up by Mike Greenwood for the new incarnation with stepper motor fitted and most if not all the engines I’ll need are here.
Notice how I didn’t say want as you’ll never have enough of them !

Yes in that it has been recycled into Westbourne bridge and any other usable components have been used up in quite a few other projects as well.
Some bits also ended up on Canton.

Pity about the TT from Ranelagh Bridge, there things that were wrong with it but the impression was good. Ask Mike if he wants the drawings for the T/T as I still have them.

Yes a copy may come in handy,
It’s at an advanced stage but may be missing some of the more intricate details

The water tower has had all the individual bricks picked out and is ready for mortar
But tomorrow’s job is to raise the garage floor by 2” and insulate it.

The next engine and a must for Ranelagh Bridge is 1020 County of Monmouth underway with Mick being made up from a JLTRT kit with his usual refinements.
