I spent a very pleasant day on Friday at the London Transport Museum Depot's open day in Acton. I have wanted to go for a long time and this year happened to coincide with my being in the London Area for the Scalefour Society's Skills Day and AGM.
I spent three hours wandering around, taking pictures and doing a couple of short tours behind the scenes to see small exhibits and posters. If anyone is in London when these open days (weekends) occur, which I think are about three times a year, I can recommend you taking the time to go.
