Hornguide Jig - SimonD's workbench, page 105, Slaters hornguide assembly jig

This is a hornguide fitting jig to align Slaters hornguides to the coupling rod centres, and keep them perpendicular to the horizontal, or parallel to one another if you prefer.

They are designed to be used with M5 T-nuts or T-bolts and the 20 x 20 extruded aluminium T-channel.

Assemble your coupling rods and use them to space the jigs on the T-channel. Clamp them firmly. You can put the rods away now.

I printed them in ABS like resin and they survived the soldering process using an RSU...

Thank you Simond for this very useful jig. Also the Acrylic paint conversion guide. We can't get enamel paint posted to Australia and Acrilics are the new normal for any GWR modeller without a massive paint stock from days gone by.
