High Wycombe Broad Gauge Station 1854-64

I have been experimenting with the best way to paint laser cut brick, I had used water colour pencils but I was still not 100 per cent happy, So brought some very cheep acrylic paint in tubes £10 for 30 tubes from the works and used these to build up the colour by dry brushing a mix of bright orange and burnt sienna, I thick the result look ok, photo of the real thing and my model which is 4mm scale.

Halfords white primer, then Tamiya deck tan or a similar mortar colour brush painted on.

Although not part of the trainshed itself I printed off the water tank/coke stage yesterday, This is all drawn up in Fusion. I don't know what the tank at Wycombe was like but this is drawn up from the tank at Aylesbury from 1863, although it is identical to photos of other tanks that appear over the GWR system from 1850s to the 1880s so I think it was a standard design. At places like Watchet the lower area was boarded in. In the 1850/60 engines where burning coke, so wonder if this was piled up on the platform or contained in sacks.

I have now printed off the end porticos and the hardwood brackets between the walls and trusses. Everthing is just lodged together at the moment but it gives an idea how this relate to each other.
