Thank you for the kind comments, it has been an up and down ride, more to do with my lack of skill set in some areas LOLThe Bulleid Society website has a mesmerising 360 degree view of Blackmoor Vale's cab.Maybe it,ll prove additional inspiration when weathering that superb Backhead? It,s been a real pleasure watching a fine kit and fine workmanship combine in mostly? happy union.Thank you.
frustratingly they have back dated the engine to SR period with no AWS fittings or conduit, the next nearest, and probably more genuine candidate is Winston Churchill with it's full black cab....which means most peoples photos on the web use flash and the roof area is pitch black. If only I'd know a couple of years ago that I'd need detail cab shots I'd of taken some
Take your time and in small bite sized steps and you'll be just finePicked up my Bulleid kit today from Reading. Good to meet Richard at long last. Looking forward, with a healthy dose of fear, to having a go at building the kit at some stage. Lots of other projects to finish first though....

Waiting for the last set of etches to come back (hopefully end of this week) and be signed off, then castings masters and instructions.Pretty soon I hope.......
Hi Chris,
All the components are available now and packed up for you (and others)....except for the springs and axleboxes. These we hope will have new moulds made in the next few weeks, wherupon we have to OK the initial castings and then order a production run, We were waiting for everything to be available, but if you wish for all the other bits to be sent in advance of the tender springs/axleboxes, we will do so. If you are going to Kettering, we can pass them over then.

It looks great but if you want better photos with endless depth of field you need Helicon Focus focus stacking made easy.
Richard

Or the tripod and a higher F stop, F 10 and F 11 are always going to give poor depth of field this close.
