Can you get away with using 10mm transfers?

I have found that Powsides do 10mm to the foot transfers. I'm in the process of building about 10 wagons in 1:32. So my question is this can you get away with using 10mm transfers on a 1:32 wagon?

Looking at a wagon side with a row of lettering that covers say 10'-0" in length. 10mm scale on a 1/32 scale wagon the lettering will be 4.72mm over length.
1/32 = 9.528mm/1ft.

Marc, the only thing that really counts is whether the model 'looks right' to you - or your customer.
Yet size can matter: I've been caught by a P.O. wagon transfer that was longer than the wagon side.

Historically, many transfers were printed so oversize that folk chose to put "7mm Scale" transfers onto their 10mm scale models!

(Which is another valid option for you.)

Start with a sample sheet - or be cheeky and ask for 1:1 photocopies before ordering.

Lucky the customer is my dad who has dementia so he is not going to be overly bothered. How ever as I'm going to inherit them in the not so distant future I want the correct. I also have his Tower pug in a maroon paint job so someone said I should give the older wagons a very heavy weathering and have them as internal user wagons and ones that can have LMS on the side use them as I can use Slaters transfers.

That's what I do, Marc.
It means I don't need to repair cosmetic damage, missing buffers or brakes etc etc, and gives me some interestingly 'different' stock. A side benefit is that you don't need much (or indeed any) transfers.
