I’m so jealous! Hope to be able to take in a cat soon, but making do with occasional visits from the neighbourhood at the moment.

I’m sure you’ll be very happy together.
Cheers!

Arthur is doing very well :)

Not much modelling with Abbie finishing primary school and Arthur settling. And this week we're back in South West Scotland staying near Port Patrick :)

On the way up we stopped at Dumfries.

It's a lovely day box.

We also headed to Big Water of Fleet viaduct as the children hadn't seen it before.

This part of Scotland has some of the most enjoyable roads in the UK, but the last half mile towards the viaduct is a rough unmade road! Very slow progress in the Saab as it sits rather low!

We made a return visit to the Doon Valley Railway - the trip from where we're staying has some of the best roads I've driven! The Saab has had its suspension set up for these flowing A and B roads :)

A lovely visit with the added bonus of a tour of the shed and their new museum building.

Nice to hear something positive about DVR. I was a long time volunteer when it was the Scottish Industrial Railway Centre and was heavily involved in getting the fireless back into working order.
Incidentally I, and a few others, are going on a wee pub crawl to Portpatrick and Stranraer by train and bus today. Hope the weather is better there than the blustery showers we are getting here.
