James,

The photo is not working for me.
It’s working for me now, apologies but it seems we’re getting bombarded with AI bots crawling around again causing bandwidth problems again. Try refreshing after a few minutes.

I'll get a copy, I kept a copy of the RM article :)

It's a miserable day out today so I've been curled up on the sofa with my new book! It's a beautifully produced book, the reproduction of photographs
Glad you are enjoying it James, whilst you’ve been curled up on the sofa, and the AI bots have been playing havoc, we’ve had to contend with a houseful of grandkids

I watched this, Geoff and it's fascinating. Did I understand it correctly that the owner of Titley Jct has removed the track that was previously laid?
Glad you enjoyed it Tim. The last I heard was that the site had been sold again and the Kingfisher line open days had ceased. I'm not sure if the track has been lifted, but the Class 117 and some other items of rolling stock have been removed. This appeared on Facebook almost two years ago.

5807 on test with a short goods train, the shed road will be laid once I've modelled the ash/inspection pit. Take no notice of the scenery, I've just tidied the old grass up using Pixlr. At the moment the power is being supplied by my trusty old Gaugemaster controller.

Geoff, This is looking good, as we expected it to be, simple but very effective.

Thanks Gary.

I'm beginning to get a feel for the place, which is always a good sign. :)

Geoff.

There's something quite enticing about gentle curves, and points on them.

There certainly is Tony, not that mine is as gentle as those on Love Lane! Thanks for posting that photo, it has reminded me to catch up with Love Lane.

An aerial view of the scene last week, warts and all, that loose section of scenery was salvaged from Bledffa Road and moved around to assist with planning the proposed scenery. There was a permanent 20mph speed restriction on the curve around Kington shed, and the land on the left was home to several allotments. Not that I fancy modelling them, but you never know. ;)
I'm too old for crawling underneath baseboards so the wiring runs in channels cut into the 3mm thick cork underlay.

Every time I take a photo, I experiment with the scenery around it with a little cloning. I've used a healing pen to tidy up the left foreground and to blend the original scenery from the old layout into the new. The coaling stage will eventually merge into an overgrown grass bank as it did at Kington.

P1210784-EDIT.jpg

Once again, the old layout's scenery has been used as a basis for this view, but it will have to gently rise toward the bridge.

Oh well, time to carry out some more wood butchery as I cut the ash pit out.
